This product gets 2 raspberries, on an awesome looking monitor. 1st is the ring stand. This monitor appears to only be designed for a single height desk. For desks where the monitor sits higher than main tier of the desk, you will have issues. (I had some spare strips of board laying around, so created a small lift and base lock so it could have a slight downward tilt without the monitor falling.) 2nd raspberry is the touch controls. ……..

If you want a detailed description of how this TN panel performs in color palettes, grayscale, backlight bleed etc. refer to the link and other sites for feedback because the representative at Gateway told me this and the HD2200 use the same exact panel (apparently the 2000:1 contrast ratio to the hd200’s 1000:1 is a gimmick, because of “Ultra Contrast” - similar to dynamic contrast versus native). The biggest difference between this monitor and the aforementioned is the lack of a component input and DCDi Faroudja processing.
